Furniture.
We will design and build a custom piece of furniture based on the dimensions, functionality, and style that you desire. This is a “from-scratch” service that often requires weeks of 3D modeling revisions to find the exact piece that is perfect for your home.
If you like something in our portfolio and want a copy, we will remake a piece with the dimensions, wood species, finishes, or details that you desire. This process moves faster since a good amount of design work is already done.

Carpentry.
We offer in-home carpentry services for special projects. These include custom mantles, countertops, doors, shelving, unique cabinetry, wall art, bookcases, workstations, slat walls, offices, banquettes, and more.
We do not do kitchen cabinets, exterior work, refinishing, or any installation work of store-bought components. We can refer you to others who perform these services.

Millwork/CNC.
We offer several hourly services to assist you with your own projects. We can plane lumber up to 20” wide, sand panels up to 37” wide, and flatten slabs up to 48” wide. We also specialize in turning logs into lumber, where we will mill your tree, kiln dry the slabs, and build furniture from them. We can also make custom CNC or laser cut signs with any design or logo.
Please note that we do not offer furniture repair or refinishing services due to our long backlog of commissions. We can refer you to other businesses who specialize in this.
Process
We are open to any and all project ideas and will be very transparent about our work schedule and limitations. If we can't build something exactly the way you want it, we can refer you to someone else who can.
Design
Each piece we make is carefully designed to every detail. Nothing is overlooked through this process.
Once the scope of work has been discussed for your project, we can begin designing your piece digitally. A non-refundable $200 design fee is required to begin this phase. Not all pieces will require digital models and renderings, but we will let you know if they are required to proceed. Revisions in 3D models are common and encouraged, as they will help us get to the final idea you have in mind. Once the design is approved, your design fee will be subtracted from the total price of the work.
Work and Payment
A 50% deposit is required after the design is agreed upon. This is to cover material costs and labor to begin your piece. The remaining balance will be paid upon delivery or before shipping if the piece is to be shipped. We will deliver pieces within a 4 hour radius of San Mateo for an added charge depending on distance.
Lead times vary depending upon the project and material availability, but generally we have around a 6 month lead time due to heavy demand. We will give you estimated delivery dates once the project has started and we appreciate your patience and understanding if we fail to meet a deadline. Furniture making is a long process and we often have a long queue of orders.
